Unique Tomato.

A new tomato has been engineered which is also anti-oxidant as the barries have,and appears in red and purple colours. The tomato is nutritious as well. The red and purple colour of the tomato,is due to the presence of ‘Anthocyanin’ in the pigment, that comes out from the cell of the fruit. Anthocyanin is an anti-oxidant. Such tomato was engineered by the researchers early,which did not carry the requires anthocyanin.

Cathey Martin and colleagues of John Innes center in Nonwitch,Uk, are successful in making such tomato which can be widely used in the world by the human undergoing through an easy cultivating procedure. It is not only nutritious, but also ‘cancer resistant’,that has been experintaly inferred. Consuming such tomato would be good for health and wou be able to combat with ‘ tumour’and cancer as well. This tomato carries 2.8 mg anthocyanin per gram while rashberries carries 3.7 mg per gram composition.

This nutritious tomato can be produced in general soil everywhere. It can be grown up even on the tub in your garden in attractive colour shade. It is good for health indeed.
